“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people; for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness”

Prayer is an integral part of our lives at the Benedictine Abbey of Our Lady of the Assumption. We invite you to share your special intentions with us; it is our privilege to pray for you and we would be pleased to include you and your intentions in our daily prayers.

St Paul tells us to pray for others as well as ourselves, even enemies. Placing our needs before God our Father is what Jesus does, making intercession for us. The Church's intercessions know no boundaries.

Requests for masses are gladly accepted. We will endeavor to fulfil the request for masses on specific days, however it may not always be possible. Rest assured that the mass will be said.
